The Kokomo Family YMCA proudly presents our wildly popular Kids Mini Mudder race on Saturday, August 6, 2022. This is a great event that lets kids be active, get muddy, tackle challenges, and have FUN for a great cause! This race is for kids ages 4-16. Kids 10 and under must have an adult with them on the course. This day is for the whole family with a carnival, lunch and parents or guardians can even run the race too! 1. DATE AND TIME
Kids Mini Mudder race on Saturday, August 6, 2022. The first wave of the race will start at 10:00 a.m. for ages 4-6. Waves will follow every 30 minutes.
2. WHAT IS ALL INCLUDED
Included: Race entry, a Mini Mudder Cooling Headband, Mini Mudder Race shirt, 1 ticket for every carnival game, lunch, and a YMCA Silicone wristband!
3. PARENT SUPERVISION
Kids that are 10 and under must be accompanied on the course by an adult (18 and older). You do not have to run the race, just be on the course to supervise.
4. THE COURSE
The course at Camp Tycony will feature muddy obstacles including A-Frames, Paracord Spider Web Crawl, Hurdles and so much MORE! Bring a change of clothes.
5. WHERE TO PARK
Parking for the YMCA Mini Mudder will be located off-site at First Christian Church. There will be a shuttle to transport you back and forth to Camp Tycony.

Registration
Registration is now open! You must register online. There will be no registration on the day of the race.
Location
The Kokomo YMCA Kids Mini Mudder will be located at Camp Tycony: 27 S. 300 W., Kokomo, IN 46901.
Date and Time
Race day is on Saturday, August 6, 2022. The first wave of the race will start at 10:00 a.m. for ages 4-6 and the final wave will start at 11:00 am. for ages 13-16.
Packet Pick-up
Packet pick-up will be on Friday (8/5) at the Downtown YMCA from 11am-4pm. Day of race packet pick-up will start at 9am at First Christian Church.
Parking
Parking for the YMCA Mini Mudder will be located off-site at First Christian Church. There will be a shuttle to transport you back and forth to Camp Tycony.
What to Bring
Wear active clothes that you don’t mind getting messy. Bring a complete change of clothes, including shoes and a towel. Shoes must be closed-toed, atheltic shoes or sneakers.
Kids 10 and under

Family Fun Festival
We’ve also have a Family Fun Festival on the same day as the Mini Mud Run, including games, food, music, and SO MUCH MORE!

When is the Mini Mudder Race?
Race day is on Saturday, August 6th. The first wave will start at 10:00am.
What time is the race?
Starting times will be in waves, divided up by age groups:
Ages 4-6 (Race starts at 10am)
Ages 7-9 (Race starts at 10:30am)
Ages 10-12 (Race starts at 11am)
Ages 13-16 (Race starts at 11:30am)
All children ages 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult (18 and older) on the course.
What is a Mini Mudder race?
How do I register?
You can register online between now and August 4th. There will be no registration on the day of the race.
Where is parking?
Parking will be located at First Christian Church: 854 300 W., Kokomo, IN 46901
There will be a shuttle to take you back and forth to Camp Tycony.
There will be limited accessible parking at Camp Tycony.
What do I need to wear or bring?
Make sure that children are wearing closed toed shoes, running shoes or sneakers. No flip-flips or sandals.
Please make sure you and your child bring clothes to change into after the race.
What does this race benefit?
All proceeds from this run are donated to the Kokomo Family YMCA Annual Campaign which provides scholarships and funding for families and community members in need.
